The openRDF.org site is a community site that is the center for all Sesame-related development. Sesame is a modular architecture for storing, querying and inferencing for RDF. It can be deployed as a web server or used as a Java library. Features include 3 query languages (SeRQL, RQL, RDQL), inferencing support, and in-memory and persistent storage.

The goal of our approach is to make web services a mature technology. This is a pre-requisite for their application in mission-critical applications. Businesses can be released from the burden of complex, slow and expensive software integration and focus instead on the value of their offerings and mission-critical tasks.

The Dublin Core Metadata Initiative is an open forum engaged in the development of interoperable online metadata standards that support a broad range of purposes and business models.
